Microneedling works with your skin’s natural renewal process to stimulate collagen and elastin production, helping reveal firmer, smoother, more radiant-looking skin over time. A numbing cream is applied for optimal comfort, while targeted boosters such as PDRN or exosomes can be added to further support skin regeneration and enhance your results.

Microneedling is not recommended for skin that is irritated, inflamed, infected, or otherwise compromised, as well as for certain sensitive or fragile skin types. It should be avoided during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless approved by a medical professional. Individuals prone to hyperpigmentation (such as those with Melasma or Fitzpatrick phototypes 5 and 6) should exercise caution.

Microneedling is performed on healthy, balanced skin. If your skin shows signs of irritation, inflammation, infection, or a compromised skin barrier, we may recommend rescheduling your appointment or guiding you toward a more suitable treatment to ensure optimal results and your safety.
To properly prepare your skin, we recommend avoiding certain products and treatments in the days leading up to your appointment:

- Botox: minimum 2 weeks
- Fillers: minimum 4 weeks
- Laser: avoid in the weeks prior
- Chemical peels: minimum 4 weeks

- Retinol and retinoids
- Vitamin C
- AHA, BHA, and other exfoliating acids

- Excessive sun exposure
- Self-tanner
- Facial hair removal

0–24 hours · Stay in and reset
Your skin will be quite red, similar to a sunburn, and may feel warm, tight, or slightly swollen. Plan to take it easy and avoid scheduling anything, this is your skin’s time to reset and begin its repair process.
Days 2–3 · Settling down
The redness softens into a light pink glow. Skin can feel a bit dry or textured, almost like a soft sandpaper finish. Don’t worry, this is your skin doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.
Days 4–5 · The glow is loading
You may experience light flaking or peeling. Skin can look a little dull for a moment, but it’s all part of the renewal process happening beneath the surface.
Days 6–7 · Back to your glow
Your skin starts to feel calm, smooth, and balanced again. Redness fades, and that healthy, natural glow begins to come through.
Weeks 2–4 · It only gets better
This is where the magic builds. Skin looks smoother, brighter, and more even. Fine lines appear softened, and acne scars look more refined over time.

Step 1 · Cleansing
We begin with a double cleanse to deeply purify the skin and prepare it for the treatment.
Step 2 · Numbing cream
A numbing cream is applied beforehand to ensure maximum comfort, making the treatment (almost) painless.
Step 3 · Microneedling
Microneedling is performed with precision across the entire face using a hyaluronic acid serum to support hydration and regeneration. Advanced boosters such as exosomes or PDRN can be added to enhance results and support deeper skin renewal.
Step 4 · Soothing
The serum is reapplied to calm and nourish the skin. Cool globes may be used to reduce redness and refresh the complexion, depending on your skin’s sensitivity.
Step 5 · LED therapy
A session of LED light therapy helps support the skin’s repair process while you relax.
Step 6 · Final hydration
The treatment ends with the application of a gentle moisturizer to protect and comfort the skin.

Who is not a good candidate for Microneedling?

The treatment is very well tolerated. A numbing cream is applied beforehand to ensure maximum comfort. You may feel slight pressure or mild sensation during the treatment, but most clients find it very manageable.
Is Microneedling safe?
Yes. When performed by trained professionals, Microneedling is a safe and controlled treatment. We use sterile, medical-grade devices and follow strict protocols to ensure optimal results and safety.
Can I get Microneedling while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Microneedling is not recommended during pregnancy. During breastfeeding, the treatment may be performed with medical approval due to the use of numbing cream.
When will I see results?
You’ll notice an initial glow within a few days, with continued improvement over the following weeks as collagen production increases. Results build over time.
What is the downtime?
Downtime is minimal to moderate. You can expect redness, warmth, and sensitivity for 24 to 72 hours, similar to a sunburn. Most clients return to normal activities the next day, but visible redness is expected, especially within the first 24 hours.
What skin concerns does Microneedling target?
Microneedling helps improve fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture, hyperpigmentation, and lack of radiance.
What should I avoid after Microneedling?
For 5 to 7 days after your treatment, avoid exfoliants, retinol, acids, heat exposure such as saunas and steam rooms, intense workouts, and direct sun exposure.
Your skin will be more sensitive during this time as it goes through its natural renewal process.

How do Microneedling packages work?
Once your package is purchased, your sessions are added to your Beauties Lab profile. You can then book each appointment individually. Your Skin Specialist will recommend the ideal timing between treatments based on your skin’s progress and your goals.
Do Microneedling packages expire?
Your package rate is valid for 12 months. After that, the value of any unused sessions remains as a credit on your account and can be applied toward the current regular price of the treatment. You’ll simply pay the difference, if applicable.
How do I purchase a package?
Packages are available directly through our online store and at our locations.
Simply select the package option you’d like when purchasing your treatment.
How do I use my sessions?
Once your package is purchased, your sessions are added to your client account.
You can then book your appointments as usual through our website. During your visit, our team will simply apply one session from your package to your account.
There’s nothing you need to bring and no proof of purchase is required.
How long do I have to use my package?
Your package must be used within the timeframe indicated at the time of purchase, typically within 12 months of the purchase date.
If a particular situation prevents you from using your package within that timeframe, please contact us and we’ll review your situation on a case-by-case basis.
Are packages refundable?
Packages are subject to our terms and conditions of sale and are non-refundable.
