Solara Suncare was created in 2019 by Stephanie to address the specific needs of her children with sensitive skin and allergies to chemical sunscreens. At the time, mineral SPF options were sticky and left a white residue, while other products labeled as "organic" or "clean" still contained skin-disruptive ingredients.

Collaborating with skilled chemists, medical professionals, healers, and global testing partners, Solara is revitalizing the concept of healthy skin protection from the inside out. Their brand name, Solara, holds no specific meaning in any language. It was created by the founder's children, but has come to represent the feeling of living, loving, and laughing in the sunshine.

Solara Suncare is powered by plants and rooted in science. It goes beyond just being an SPF product, offering a comprehensive range of benefits. The brand is vegan, reef-friendly, cruelty-free and plant powered.
