Questions & Answers

  • Is it possible to book the Makeup Class as a duo?

It is unfortunately not possible as of now. You can currently book the Makeup Class for one person or for a group of 5 to 6 people!

  • I use cream regularly, but my skin still feels tight and dry, why?

Because it lacks water and not fat, a moisturizing serum will help.
  • I have oily skin, can I use oil?

Yes, if you don't like the overly glowy effect during the day, you can apply it only in your evening routine.
  • How do I use a Gua Sha?

Gentle movements from the chin to the ears to drain toxins and tone the face. Can also be used to reduce tension in the neck and shoulders.
  • I would like to know more about the parking?

There is street parking, but there is also a paid public parking lot behind the Château Saint-Ambroise. The entrance to this parking lot is to the left (or east) of the building. Take a ticket and head to the right, into the back of the public parking lot. There you will see a restaurant deck that you can enter through. This entrance is also wheelchair accessible. Parking is free for less than 30 minutes, otherwise you will be charged by the hour and can pay on the way out. You can take the elevator to the second floor. Our store is just to the right of the elevator.
  • Do you treat milia?

Since milia require needles, estheticians are not allowed to remove them. You must make an appointment with a dermatologist to have them removed.
  • I want to come to the lab to buy products, do I need an appointment?

No! Our store hours are Wednesday from 11-5, Thursday/Friday from 11-6 and Saturday/Sunday from 10-4.
  • What is the best way to get to the lab?

You must enter through door #4030 if you want to go to our store. You will find us on the 2nd floor, door 219. If you go through the back, (the parking lot) enter through the restaurant terrace. This entrance is also wheelchair accessible. You can take the elevator to the second floor. Our store is located just to the right of the elevator.
  • Do you do blackhead extraction?

Yes, all our treatments are preceded by a small consultation to really target the right care for your skin.
  • How often should I come for a treatment?

It's different for everyone! If you have a good routine at home, you can afford to come in a little less often, every 3 months or so to give your skin a little refresh. If you are someone who doesn't take care of your skin as well at home, it would be nice to come more often, about every month. Someone who needs a lot of extractions should come in every 2 to 4 weeks. One facial a month would be ideal for each person since the skin regenerates on a 28 day cycle so it's like working on new skin each time.
  • At what age should I start using products that slow down skin aging?

The two best products are sunscreen and moisturizer. The sun is the external factor that has the greatest impact on skin aging and wrinkles are a deep dehydration of the skin so keeping the skin hydrated and protected is already a very good start. Collagen production in the skin starts to slow down after the age of 25 so it might be interesting to add an ingredient that helps stimulate it into the routine, especially peptides.
  • Why do you have a cancellation policy?
