For liquid textures, run your sponge under water until it is completely soaked, wring and use. For powder textures, use your sponge dry.
HOW TO CLEAN
STEP 1: WET THE SPONGE
Run the SLICK sponge under running water until it expands and is completely soaked.
STEP 2: ADD CLEANER
If you're using a liquid cleaner, pour the soap directly onto the sponge and begin to massage, squeeze and press it into the palm of your wet hand. If you're using a bar of soap, rub the sponge back and forth against the bar while applying pressure to create a lather.
STEP 3: RINSE
Once the SLICK sponge is soaked with soap, you're ready to rinse it off. Gently squeeze the sponge under clean water until the water runs out, then set it aside to dry. When you are ready to clean the tip, massage it gently and very slowly to avoid tearing.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
It is VERY important not to use a rubber buffer to clean the sponge; it could break it because the texture of the SLICK is so soft and pliable. Be sure not to use sharp tools (or your fingernails) to soak the sponge.
Be careful: soap can be harsh and drying, so doing this cleaning frequently can start to damage the sponge over time, which is totally normal! Use a gentle option and save the bar soap for emergencies!
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE MY SPONGE?
For sanitary reasons, your SLICK sponge should be changed every 3 months.
